Using the "personality" in the Chinese language contains two kinds of meanings. One for psychology is pointed to the pattern of collective character, behavioral, emotional, and mental traits of a person; On the other hand, at moral aspect, it is used as the value judging of the behavior. The situation of the decade of personality psychology in China from 1994 to 2004 is introduced. Methodologically, bibliometrics is adopted. From the China Academic Journal Full-Text Database (up to June 22nd of 2004, totally reach 10,153,823 thesis), searching for "personality" in the title of articles is used as search condition, totally 6177 thesis jump out. Among them, there are 1607 articles relevant to personality psychology. The analyses to 1607 dissertations are through four aspects, such as the article amount of every year, research type, methodology, and subjects. From 1994 up to the early of 2004, the thesis amount of every year shows the tendency of quickly increasing, especially recent 3 years there are more than 200 articles relevant to personality psychology to be published. Through the research typeCit reveals that the articles that is on theoretical analysis, commentary, introduction occupy a high proportion; but the empirical articles are still superiority. On methodology, the results are reported that the researches of personality psychology in China mainly adopt a lot of questionnaires, and EPQ, Cattle16PF, MMPI are more popular. Additionally, experimental approach, projective technique, works analysis and so on are used. Meanwhile, aspects of statistics, besides Analysis of Variance, Factor Analysis, Regression Analysis, a little bit deal with the Structural Equation Model, Cluster Analysis. From the participants, the university students as subjects are the majority. In addition, there are the teachers, the patients (including the mental disorder), public staffs, athletes, soldier, policemen, criminals, national minority, drug abuser etc al. Finally, "Big Seven" factors of Chinese personality (Deng-Feng Wang & Kuo-Shu Yang, 2001) are introduced to show the details and representation of the researches in personality psychology of China.
