洋書の紹介「Evolutionary Psychiatry: A new beginning.」

ユング学派の精神分析医が, 人類の進化進化の歴史と精神病との関係について述べた 本で, いわゆる我が国のユング学派の人には全く見いだせない広い見地から論点が整理 されている点が興味深い。ハミルトンやウイルソンなど, いわゆる社会生物学を提唱す る研究者と同じ視点から，例えば進化生態学的にみれば，精神分裂病的人格の持ち主は 集団を分岐させることにその役割があったなど，非常に大胆な考え方が述べられている 。一読に値する本である。主な章立てとしては以下の通りである（荘厳舜哉）。
